TOTALLY going to have to redo at some point.
When I thought of founding, though, I thought of the pilgrims... and when I thought of the pilgrims, I thought about Jamestown and the Mayflower, and all that shiz... And I thought of a little America in the gowns that the children used to where...
... and then I became COMPLETELY distracted by the background and shiz. and that is such a fail ship.

Well, I'll try to not get carried away next time, but this is the first piece for my 100 theme hetalia challenge. ;u;
I'm going to try to use it as a way to improve, so I made up a few rules; It had to be done before my sister's 7th birthday. (March 30, 2013) and I am not allowed to use references, meaning I have to buckle down and study anatomy on my own. >:C
Welp. We'll see if I improve any 99 deviations from now. ;u;

I love this picture, you have really paid attention to detail ^^ but maybe to improve you could make the sun appear brighter and more shiny maybe? and maybe around the bottom of the ship you could add some white to create some sea foam 
Don't be afraid to use referencing, I do it all the time but of course I put it in my own style though, as long as it is not exactly the same as the original picture referencing is not the same as stealing
Have you ever heard of the site Drago Art? It is a site which is very good at teaching how to draw anatomy step by step, I have used it before and it has really helped me too
